That is perfectly normal. Up here in the far north we get a lot of snowmobiles at the drag races. Your average stock big bore ( 700-800cc's)snowmobile will run low 11's without much trouble. They put on a flat drag track, a few bogie wheels, and a set of special wheel/skis up front and away you go. 100+ horsepower, 600 lbs, and unlimited traction thanks to all the rubber on the ground. I've seen a couple in the low tens.
