It depends a lot on the track too. I was a bit disappointed with the performance of my drag radials (BFG 275/60/15) when I went to the track. My best 60 ft. was a 1.99, most were 2.0-2.2's. That plain sucks. I went to a different track that actually pays a little attention to their launch pad and got a 1.76 on my second run.
The thing is even with a big drag radial you cannot dump the clutch at 4000 rpm. You have to slip it to get a good number. I prefer not to rag on my clutch so much, so I am selling my DR's and getting some ET streets.
