On a stock mustang you will see very little or no gains. The only time a chip is worth the money is when you have a load of performance parts. Then you should get a custom one burned on a dyno for your combo to make it worth the money.
Off the shelf chips work good on cars with computer controled transmisions because they can change the shift points.
