Yeah, I learned the hard was that those new (okay, this was ten years ago, so they're not really new anymore) "one gasket" Holley's suck eggs if you damage any part of it. I foolishly broke one of the corners on the throttle plate, which made the entire carb junk. There were less then 10 parts in it that could be used in another Holley. I needed an ashtray, and it looked like it would work, so with a little JB weld to fill the necessary holes, I had a new ashtray for the shop. It goes well with my mashed piston ashtray from when I grenaded my first 403.

The stuff in that cabinet is strictly for parts, except for the 750 sitting on the top shelf, which I just rebuilt a few weeks ago. I've got another shelf of finished carbs, and a table full of carb parts I need to clean over by the parts washer. I like carbs.
