Not sure if I should put this here or not but here goes. I just picked up some 86 Taillights from a guy and I put them in and they look great, but they don't seem to be the same size as my old cheese graters that were in my 90. When the hatch is closed it overlaps the taillights a little bit, not a whole lot but enough that I notice when I look at the car. Did I mess up and get the wrong kind of 86 Taillights? Are the lights different sizes if they came out of a coupe or hatchback? I didn't even think to ask.
Thought maybe someone else ran across this and maybe used spacers or something in order to position them right.
