I want to replace my ashtray on my 88 with a starter button. I'll hide the hole with a metal plate and i'll add the switch for the electrical fan but they will be some space left so i want to install a starter button. Does anyone have already done this.

I've tried a SEARCH but there's too many results and nothing specially for my needs.
