Well, when I first heard about the intake, it was being made by Mac (if I remember correctly). I believe that they sold the design to Performance Products to avoid any legal issues. Anyway, if it's the same as the intake described in the article in 5.0 a while back, they had a curved plenum cover as opposed the the flat Edelbrock cover which supposedly helps to maintain flow velocity, and they reworked the geometry in a few of the runners of the lower intake to improve flow.

That price is a lot higher than the original price they predicted.
