This can depend on the set up. When my motor was on the dyno, we opened up the intake with bigger TB, MAF, etc. It has the GT40 upper and lower intake, and the B-cam, but wasn't making the power the dyno guy thought it should.

I added 1.72 rockers and that really woke it up. I don't have the charts with me here at school, but if I remember correctly, I picked about 21 hp at the wheels after the rockers were added. So, if the intake is opened up but the motor could still use some more air, rockers may make a huge difference.
