When I rebuilt my trans I removed the t5 and bellhousing together, then removed those 4 bolts (with the bellhousing clamped to a table and a breaker bar on the ratchet).

If you can get a decent impact wrench, compressor, impact universal adaptor (standard ones can explode) and appropriate impact sockets and LONG extension you could remove them on or off the car with little trouble.
