Well, Just got back from a week in Tn, visiting my g/fs family/vacationing. It was fun, we were in Pigeon Forge/Gatlingburg, did all the tourist stuff (Gatlingburg, Dollywood, and the musclecar museum in Sevierville
etc), flew in my first helo (very cool).
How many folks here are from the area?
We are looking at moving up there about middle of next year, and I was wondering what the scene was like. (I saw a lot of really nice classics roaming about, so thats a good sign).
Also, I noticed in another thread, somebody mentioned that there was a lot of rice in Pigeon Forge...Where? Since last Sat, I saw less than 2 dozen of the buggers. It was heaven...
Here (Tampa) you see/hear that many on a 7-11 run.
Anyways, just polling for info,
BTW, I loved the fact that there were a lot of A&W/Sonic/other drive in diners off the parkway. Good crusin territory
