I was on the way to get my car washed today and saw a Bullit in my rear view, he pulls up next to me and I drop a gear so he can hear that Im interested. The Bullit defintiely had a full exhaust w no cats, I couldnt tell what else it had.

I figured he would completely dump on my but that wasnt the case. We got to run through the top of second and at the end his front bumper was about 3 feet ahead of mine. Not much at all. He seemed quite impressed and asked me what year my car was. I told him that its a completely stock 98 w a cat back. I think that If we were to do a full quarter mile run my front bumper would be right on his ***.

BTW two of my friends raced last thursday, One has a new Passat with a chip and the other has a 96-98 Cobra with stock gears lowered on 18" chrome with exhaust and a few other bolt ons. Believe it or not the Passat won....3 times in a row, from a dead stop, from a roll, and getting on the freeway. The Cobra owner says that his clutch is slipping It had better be slipping REAL bad otherwise he cant drive or his car sucks. Im racing the Passat this Thursday.
