I read the same notes on here about carb cleaner. I have a Montana mini van in my corral that my son had a minor accident in when some one pulled out in front of him. The van has a grey bumper and there was white paint all over the drivers side front. I tried and tried to get it off. No luck!

Read the thread here got out my B12 Chem Tool. 5 minutes with this and some paper towels and the bumper looks like new!

Don't see much down side in giving it a try. Start on a small spot. See if it helps. Wait a day see if it still looks ok. If so, go for a bigger spot. You don't have to do it all at once if you are worried. Just do a small spot and see if it works. B12 ChemTool by Berryman is cheap and can be got at any WalMart, AutoZone or what ever.

You will want to follow up with some wax as I am sure this removes any protective wax coat you may have on the car.
