I have read that those gt40x heads are made to be ported out for semi-high horsepower. After all this is basicly a dayly driven car anyway. If I were goin for a 600 + horsepower small block I wouldnt go with ford racing products. Still wondering if the 600 hp crate motor would be a cool deal. I would take off the cobra jet heads and slap on some super cobra jets gain a little horsepower then get a bigger cam and hook up some nitrous. But I really like the idea of small blocks with big block power.
