Default leaking tranny fluid

After a new clutch, resurfaced flywheel, new pilot & throwout bearings, clutch cable, firewall adjuster, quadrant, and tri-ax shifter, my stang is leaking tranny fluid. Looks like it leaks from the point where the driveshaft connects to the tranny. It then drips down on the center of my x-pipe, making for a smoky mess. And that damn synthetic ATF is expensive! Is this a common problem? How do I repair? Any special tools required? Hope its easy..........thanks in advance
