I have had the cobra the GT-40 and the explorer upper.

At the moment I am using a cobra upper intake with a ported GT-40 lower intake.

After trying all 3 I prefer the cobra upper intake. The GT-40 leaves no room for future porting and the explorer is cast very poorly.

The GT-40 ported lower with the stock heads and a blower should work well.

I tried a comp polymers box upper for about ten minutes it killed the torque big time but my engine is N/A.
