I am very familiar with Georgia Southern.The Eagles are pretty dang tough in football year in and year out. I love the offense they run. Furman, who is a conference opponent of GSU is about 20 minutes away from me. Wofford (Spartanburg,SC) is about an hour away from me. You definitely live in/near a football hotbed. Oh yeah! I love GSU! incase you didnt know already we are going to play UGA on Sept 4th this year in Athens... looking foward to it even though its soo far off... Now that you mention some of the colleges around you... I am familar with the area... my best friend is going to Furman...
