Hell yeah it cools better. I've also got the Griffin Aluminum 31 x 19, 2-Core Manual Radiator(Iv'e got a sepaerate trans cooler) on my 347. The first time I started my new motor w/ a 185 stat its sat at 160 degrees forever after the stat opened w/ a new autometer gauge. I think the radiator was only like $190 too! Definitely go aluminum!
