I dont know who told you that but I have seen them let go in a few months and some last maybe a year
and those were at 8psi
ive them let go at 6psi
its all in the tune and how you drive your car
you can get over 300rwhp out of a stroked motor with bolt ons and them throw a blower on top of that with low boost(6-8) you would be in the 450 range and since you have the beef in the bottom end you can have abiltiy to make over 600 with the right fuel and tuning with the change of a pulley
