Default installed pa performance alt

installed pa performance 130amp alternator with a march 2 1/2" pulley(pa's pulley was 2 1/4", i think stock is around 2"?) along with pa's premium long 4 gauge wire. instructions were great and car chages at 14.6 volts at idle. lights, heater, stereo, defroster, etc, dont seem to drop the voltage output at all. i still have stock water pump and crank pulleys, so i will see if the underdrives waiting to be installed will hurt charging.

one question. when cutting out the alternator bracket to support the larger 3G, i thought i cut out enough metal, but after install i noticed the alternator is just barley touching the metal bracket, i needed to shave off a little more. could this damage the alternator? i dont hear any vibration. i did notice the old alternator whine which was sooooo loud at idle has been replaced by a mind easing hum!
