I think it all goes back to how fast you want to go. If you stroke the motor with a 3.4 inch stroke, and go .125 over bore, you will have a 363 CI. With the right heads, 10.1 C/R, good exhaust, intake,carb and a mild but somewhat aggressive cam, your ET's will be in the mid to hi 12's. ( assuming you can get it to hook). The Mustang Coupe's are very light. My 65 Coupe (daily driver) ran 12.90's on a 9 inch slick with no power adder, and a 306 CI motor. I also had to add subframes, a nine inch and SSM lift bars.
So it boils down to how fast you want to go, and still keep it a daily driver. Keep in mind that once you go sub 12's, now we need a cage, harness, SFI parts and so on. Sub 10's and it gets even worse.
