i agree on doing other stuff while doing the clutch. the best tool for turning a flywheel is a blanchard grinder.
i would do the rear main seal. i like Teflon seals (20 bucks at AZ). steel bearing retainer is a good idea. just read up first, so you dont dump your needles all over. gotta tilt the trans the right way when pulling the retainer.

pilot bearing (not bushing) is definately worth doing. make sure you get a new TOB (some kits dont include one). try to avoid plastic versions. and if your trans fluid is old, it is a good time to put your favorite flavor synthetic in.

also do U joints if needed, since the shaft will be out.
