I spotted the cork gasket and made sure everything was in place when I bolted up. Considering it was the first time I ever saw a ford slushbox at all, I did a damn good job at rebuilding it and applying a transgo kit.

Now I just need to get the stomach to drop the pan and somehow collect 15 quarts of fluid, drop the valvebody and fix the problem. I wish ford had the insight to incorporate a drain plug in their transmission oilpan!
