Gotta make it hook! The higher the stall the better your 60' if you get it to hook. If it's for strip only I'd go with a 4000 converter. If you drive it on the street I'd go with a 3500 converter. You can probably go with a 9" converter. That's what I have in my 65 stang and it stalls about 3700rpms(flash). I can get away with it on the street yet it still launches pretty good. Sometimes it overheats the tranny though, if I drive it too long.
