To adjust the brakes you would turn the starwheel down towards the ground if your facing the wheel. ( up if your behind the wheel working through the small hole in the backing plate.) It should turn fairly easy one way, and not at all the other way if you have the self adjuster set up right. As far as the wheels go, height is not so much an issue as width, and every body seems to be able to run different widths without interference. If you have aftermarket L.C.A.'s you shouldn't need the dampeners anyways.
