rattling noises comming from my bell housing
whats up guys, about a month ago i installed a tremmic 3550, on my 90 5.0. when taking my clutch off i noticed a few of the springs we loose ??? not really loose , but if i shook it i would hear a little rattling . i didnt have the dough for a whole new clutch, so i just got my pad relined. when i took my pad to get relined i asked the clutch shop if that rattling is normal , an he said ya thats ok...
Now just a couple of days ago i noticed a rattling noise comming from underneath the car. but only at low RPMs when i would hit the gas it would go away i thought my exhuast was just rubbin on somthing, i took my car to my friends shop jacked it up, and the rattling is comming from my bell !! could those clutch springs have gotten a looser ? and if it did do i have to replace the whole clutch ? i thought also maybe a clutch bolt fell out ? but wouldnt my car vibrate alot if that was the case ??? any suggestions would be great ! thanks
