I am assuming that vacuum whistle is coming from the tb..Let me guess? BBK or edelbrock tb??
If you are running your stock heads, you might be pushing to much air into the motor..I would try switching the intakes back until you got a set of better flowing heads or as a matter of fact, take your heads off and port them yourself!
