Default Bravo to 'CupCake's' understanding of Bush's moral clarity

LOL. I need to start doing that from now on. This is the first time that I am able to talk about my political views, usually hispanic people don't want to hear anything that has to do with W, I guess it is because of some of the immigration laws. To be honest I know it is hard to be able to become legal in this country, but I think there are things that are more important than that. Like having values and moral, that is what we need. There is too many people out there that don't have any direction in their lives and they think it is ok, but it is not, they always think it is somebody else's fault but theirs. I think the problem is not the different of opinion on certain fields, I think it is the fact that W doesn't have any trouble when it comes to share his faith and believes and I think that most democrats desagree, because of that, too bad people feel uncomfortable when somebody is able to talk about what it is right. You can't be a religious person and me a democrat at the same time, it doesn't work that way.
Your political astuteness continues to impress me, CupCake. There is nothing like an intelligent immigrant who fully appreciates America to remind us of how shallow we can sometimes become regarding our country and our precious freedoms.

Yes, Democrats have a huge problem with President Bush in large part because of his moral clarity which is based on his often-professed faith in God and Christ. You're correct that people who refuse to admit to any real moral boundries become very uncomfortable when they are faced with a person like President Bush who does have these moral boundries of right and wrong and acts on them. The Democrats (liberals, leftists) always call it 'black and white' and much prefer the 'grey' area - where nothing is ever 'right' or 'wrong'. This is why they can easily condemn unborn children to death in the womb via abortion and call that a 'right' yet will fight viciously against the imposition of the death penalty for a convicted mass murderer. The Democrat party has become almost exclusively secular and now sees 'religion' - especially Christianity - as a 'problem'. Democrat politicians and their media spokesmen often condemn the president's faith and moral clarity as 'dangerous' - when they're not mocking it.

That you see this, clearly, gives me hope for the future as well as this election, because if you see it, other's do, too.
