Sorry for my ignorance. I have seen stuff about AOD shifters a bunch of times, but I still don't know exactly what they do.

What benefits would I be able to gain from them? How do they work? How much are they? And how hard are they to install?!?!

Also, which ones are good ones? But my main question is what they exactly do!
