Hello,

I have a question I need a answer to, maybe you guys can help. I have a 87 cougar XR-7 that has the NON- H.O. 5.0 in it. The motor is shot, so I have an engine out of a 92 lx that I'll put into the cougar. I know the H.O. and non- H.O. have different firing orders and that everything will physically bolt in and you have to redo the plug wires in the H.O. firing order. The question is: does the injector wiring plugs also have to be changed in the H.O. order to inject the fuel in the right cylinder?

I've only messed with mustangs so I'm at a loss. Thanks for any advice.
