Good news...

I still don't know how to get ahold of a new one, but a buddy of mine who had a couple 170s had a couple carbs with these on.

They are opposite of normal power valves in that the vacuum pulls from the nipple side... I put it on and helped out my idling problems, though it still isn't where it needs to be.
