You can't go wrong with a Pioneer shaft radio. They are adjustable enough to fit the dash opening on a 69 without raping the dash like they have to do on the earlier cars. If you want CD, you can get a shaft radio and mount a cd changer in the trunk or keep your stocker in the dash and mount an in-dash style DIN radio/CD in the glovebox. Pioneer head units have excellent FM tuners and they can be had with high power or RCA outputs to add external amps.
