Two words.....Lentech Automatics! If you're thinking of staying with the AOD, its the only way to go. Consider it an investment. I just put a full season on mine with a 5200 stall and it never so much as moaned at me once...except in joy that is.
Its been the best thing I've ever done for my Mustang; I don't miss the T5 at all. Went through four T5s, but haven't even scratched the AOD yet.
