Default Re: Should I put in a cam when I rebuild motor?

any other opinions?
I'll prob add intake but plan to stick with my E7's, I got a lot of BS&T invested in them.
Is a cam worth it? I have seen cars make good power with stockers & I don't want a poorly matched intake, cam, head set up.
Anyone ever put a cam in a stock headed 5.0, are power gains noticable?
I know 88WORKCAR was running a b-303 w/speed density with no prob, I don't think I want a ford cam & can switch to mass air easily as I mentioned.
Thanks, Wes
