Is a cam worth it? I have seen cars make good power with stockers & I don't want a poorly matched intake, cam, head set up.
Anyone ever put a cam in a stock headed 5.0, are power gains noticable?
I know 88WORKCAR was running a b-303 w/speed density with no prob, I don't think I want a ford cam & can switch to mass air easily as I mentioned.

There is really no way of knowing how much cam you can run unless you flow test your heads. Lacking that, you will be stuck with trial and error method. But even stock untouched heads can use more than the stock cam providing the intake and headers are swapped.
