Hey, I'm not a big fan of cheating but i understand where you are coming from. Having a salvaged vehicle is not a good thing in terms of selling a vehicle. The law is different in each state. what state are you in?
Have you gotten an estimate of how much the damages is gonna cost to repair?
If you reside in CA, I can tell you that insurance carrier dont go by Kelly blue book. they base information off of market value of the vehicle , meaning what its worth in your particular area. they also consider miles, exterior/interior condition, tire tread, sound system, etc........
A vehicle is deemed total loss when the repairs are close or exceed the value of the car.
