The SD will work with what you are building. And you all ready have it. A carb intake you can find used, my sugg would be a torquer (spelling) A carb, yea you can "find" a good one, but a real good one will be about $700.00+ ( a "real" good one) Is fuel economy any concern to you? SD. Is cold weather startup going to come into the picture? SD. Emission checks? SD. Will you be racing boys that think that you can not use SD, and because of it you will be slow? SD. I just ran 11.80s on SD. with a weak short block, it lasted a month

. Really the choice is yours, and once it is done and right either one will get the job done.
