Yep, 99% chance that its head gaskets. When you take it apart to replace them, go with a multi-layer steel gasket like the Cometic or Mr. Gasket MLS. Also consider going to head studs for more uniform clamping. Use plenty of assembly lube or heavy weight oil on the threads/nuts when torquing, go to spec, let it sit overnight, then 1-by-1 break them loose and immediately re-torque.
