Who in the world would go to Nigeria?
Apparently a few people that wanted their money back!

In all seriousness, these scammers are the scum of the Earth. There have been a number of comedic websites created actually mocking these a-holes. Consequently, the Nigerians have threatened death (of course it was just a scare tactic, but I'm sure if we weren't in the West they'd do something stupid). If I were some poor fool that had his money stolen or taken by these people (not HANDED OVER as most of these people were guilty of), I'd probably go about it slightly differently, i.e. put out a contract on their heads. That way you don't have to be bothered with even leaving the comfort of your own home.

Of course I have this fantasy of sending my weapons over there FedEx, entering the courtry legally, picking up my "package," and taking care of business as usual.
