you don't need any special tools to remove the tailshaft housing. and if the bearing in there is still together, it's probably good, the seal is probably bad, but if your leaking, take a close look at the yoke, it is probably grooved. it will save you some time and anger , and a t5 DS yoke will work on on an aod, it will not work the other way around. (aod yoke is longer)
