I need some advice please. Im in the search for a mustang, though i cant affoard the insurance for the cobra. My goal is to get around 700-800 hp.

Is it better to get just the base v-6 model(around 5-6 grand) or get the v-8 model(which is about 10-11 grand) and then put in a crate engine. Also has anyone ever put in a crate engine in their mustang if so where did u buy it, how much did it cost, how much hp. Thank you so much for steering me in the right direction. Justin.
