Default Re: Help with clutch change

The 3650 is quite a bit heavier than a T-5, about 50 pounds heavier. There are a few ears on the bell housing of the 3650 that make it tough to get in/out because they hit on the trans tunnel. These ears are only used at the factor for assembly purposes, so I usually saw them off once the trans is down to make the re-install easier. When the trans goes back up, there's a TSB that calls for a lesser amount of fluid, and a switch to GM Synchromesh II/III.
