Re: Right way to mount subframe connectors?
At my shop, we use the following theory. If when on the lift the doors & hatch open/close the same way as when the car was on the ground, then we'll weld the subframes with the car supported normally on our lift. If they won't close/open the same, then the car is weakened and we'll spend some time trying to relieve the load on the unibody until we believe we've got it somewhat straight.
