Well, I suppose it depends on what you want to do with your toy. I have a stock 302 with a C4 transmission. As mentioned, it has an Edelbrock Performer intake and carb. It already does OK but I'd like a bit more performance. I think that the new Edelbrock heads, cam, rockers, etc will give me what I want. As a matter of fact, we are installing the new stuff this week. The next step will be to beef up the transmission. I have a plan for that. I admire the 500 HP machines but it would be over-kill for me. All I want is a good looking, head turning classic with a throaty rumble and the ability to do a bit of a burn if I choose to. E.
