Re: TFS intake
Actually, yes i have contemplated a spyder. Its just that i've had good results with TFS products. im already running a track heat, so i was wondering what everybody else is doing. the whole reason to this was that even with my 302, edelbrock headed motor, it slowed down dramatically if i revved it past 5500. and with the 347 its still the same way. the only things left i did not change are the intake and the torque convertor. i know an ideal torque for a 302 will be way too loose on the 347, but i ran it as is just to see where i was. last weekend i was rewarded with a best of 7.162@94 in the 1/8th. also with a 1.52 60'. and at 1950' density altitude. even though this is smokin with a n/a small motor, i think there is more to be had with a little more rpms. even though, i will not rev past 6200-6300 because i dont want to replace it every hundred passes. all in all i'm pretty happy with where it runs now. thx, Jay
