Default Re: TFS intake

no, i have an MSD and an Anderson PMS. the valve springs are not stock TFS twisted wedge, i dont remember what Virgil put in them. the old motor had edelbrock springs and they were new. its not really a valve float problem. when i say slowed dramatically i mean a few hundredths, maybe half a tenth. for a bracket racer like me, thats a bunch. it is very very consistant, last weekend in eliminations it ran a 7.218, then a 225 a 223, and a 227. thats 4 within a hundredth. and no delay box. too bad the driver got a case of red eye. another thing to remember, this motor only has 34 passes on it. there's about a half a tenth left in only wearing in and the fact that i have not switched to the full synthetic oil yet. my ultimate goal is under 7 no power adder, even a 6.99999999999 is still under 7 i got some video clips at home if ur interested, they're not the greatest but ok.
