delrrex. i dont know why i didnt think of this before. in the back of the intake where the PCV vavle goes into, underneath that is the rubber grommet, underneath the grommet is a PCV screen! most people dont know about it, but it causes blow-by and oil leaks. these screens only can be purchased at a Ford dealer. they under $10. what happens is that the crankcase ventilation cant relieve itself cause this screen is plugged, so all that crankcase vapors build up pressure. the pressure finds the weakest parts to relieve, example, valve cover gasktes, cranks seals, the pressure also puts strain on the valve seals and pressure is exerted the opposite way going up past the rings into the cylinder, causing a "blow-by" condition. 10-1 odds that PCV screen is plugged and most likely the original one from the factory! if you cant figure out how to get it out let me know. hope i helped. oh if that still doesnt take care of the oil burning, you still need to change that frequently, so it really isnt a waste of time or mone\y if it has never been done.
