When I first fired it up with the sysem in place I was almost dissapointed it was not too loud. The mellow rumble has grown on me, the resonance at 2000 rpm is pretty reasonable with this system. I can imagine the flowmaster system must get annoying at times. The car runs so much harder now, but also have the aluminum drivshaft now. No more vibration but I did notice all the bolts were not super tight when I pulled the old one off Yikes!!! I did not have a 12 mm 12 pt socket to torque them down during the trans swap.
The exhaust fit super great like you guys had said, one note I forgot to recheck the clearance after I droped the car back down, and the pass side tailpipe flange hit the axle and slightly moved the brakeline. Thank god it did not rupure, I am ordering a axle line set from Classic tubes since to avoid any problems down the road. BTW classic tubes rocks, their lines are super nice and fit great. I had one problem with them getting a main line from the PV to the axle hose for my mother in laws 85 LTD wagon. Since it was a fox body takes the same line as a stang. The first line was all wrong, but I sent them the old one and they duped it precicely, very sweet.
Next step is to install the MAC shifter, then post some times finally
