i just bought a 95 gt with 80000 miles. first of all, some have said 80000 miles is way to much for a 95? that scares me because i already bought the car. it was all stock except for a shifter, (the handle says hurst?), k&n air filter, and flowmaster exhaust. everything seems good except forwhen i reach around 95-100 mph the shifter area gradually started to shake and got to the point where it was pretty violent. it scared the hell out of me. i tried putting it it neutral but it still had the heavy vibration. then when i slowed down to around 90 again, it went away. im not a punk kid who wants to go fast all the time and beat the hell out of it. but i mean mustangs should be able to go 100 without violent vibration correct?? its the kind of thing where if i got it fixed. i would be content going 65 all the time. but it just eats at me even though its at high speeds. is my car trashed??? i balanced the wheels and got 2 new rear shocks so far. also does anyone know what i should look for as far as problems with it or where i should start? im scared of the high miles and i hope its not beat on. i want to put perfomance parts in there but i dont want to mess up anything. im 100 percent new to this stuff. HELPP!!! THANK YOU to anyone who helps me out with this stuff
