I can't explain it, that's just been my experience. I have had several customers whos MSD coil needed replacing after 2 years or less. That doesn't mean they will all fail after 2 years, just that most that I have dealt with do. Then again, customers don't come to me saying "It works fine". They usually see me because of a failure. Maybe I should re-phrase what I said to read: Of those that fail, 2 years seems to be the average lifespan. Better?
