here's a stupid question!!! i was told by someone who, will remain unnamed, that a automatic transmission from a 1990 6 cylinder t-bird will bolt to my 1989 lx 5.0.

i find this hard to beleive. i can't imagine that it would stand up to the 5.0 engine.

is there any truth here?
